TDS is located at 682 East State Street, Lehi Utah. Owned and Operated by Chris Thompson, a dental lab technician for 25 years. After Chris completed a 11 month crown and bridge technical program at The American Institute of Dental Technology in 2001, he got his start as a dental lab technician at Fine Arts Dental Lab in Provo, where he learned to wax cosmetic cases and then he moved into ceramics after a couple years. 9 years later he joined Rob Freeman and Jared Moore, two savvy businessmen that needed a talented dental lab tech, and together started a dental laboratory called Avadi in 2010. They grew Avadi into a very successful dental lab with dental clients all over the country and employing over 100 dental lab technicians. Avadi was acquired by Dandy Dental Lab, based out of New York, in the summer of 2022. Dandy kept Chris on their team as one of their best anterior ceramist after the acquisition. In the summer of 2023, he decided to go off on his own and start TDS, a small boutique dental laboratory, where he could focus on his craft and not be weighed down by the hustle and bustle of working for a large dental laboratory
